Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Mobile Pet Salon In San Jose

Rachel Murphy is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound Toto had last weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.

Rachel recalled, "My dog clearly was in distress. What I thought was a muff turned out to just be tape. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.


The groomer responsible for these actions was employed by Wow! My Dog, a mobile pet salon.

Rachel took Toto straight to the hospital for emergency medical care. He has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse, joining numerous others who have made similar allegations. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.

Rachel described the injuries he observed, stating, "I noticed wounds near the joints, around the neck, and in the genital area. These cuts were so bad that they bled."

Marianna De las Vegas is a Wow! My Dog customer who posted a Yelp Review about his pet being returned injured or ill. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

Wow! My Dog wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their click here pets. Rachel said, "Juliann told me that tapering the mouth shut was a normal, acceptable method. He claimed it is better than using a muzzle which, according to him, can be harmful for dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."

Gate News called Wow! My Dog, and she answered but immediately handed the phone to a female who said they were investigating these allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
